Blogging is an important part of the technology world. In order for blogging to be truly successful, it needs to feel like a sense of community. People have to be able to feel like it is okay to make comments on other blogs. Blogging is an excellennt way for people in the world wide community to build a community of their own. There are blogs out there for just about every subject that one could possibly think of. The individual topics, give the people that are participating in the blog a common poiint of interest. I read the Ten Commandments, and I felt that an important commandment is to read the blog, before providing a comment. I think so often that we as a society have be come so used to scanning what we read. It can be very emabarrising for both the original poser and commenter when the comment has nothing to do with the original post. Humor -- does go a long way. However in commenting you have to be sure that your comment come across as humor, and not as a condesending tone or as being rude. Humor can add something to your comment, but if it is used in the incorrect manner it can take something away.
I have posted comments on the following blogs:

I think it is important that we are aware of the technology that are students use on a daily basis. Though it can often seem overwhelming!
I think that technology is a very important aspect of the classroom, it is scary that our studnets know more than we do sometimes, that is why I try to learn everything I can about technology, so that I can transfer my knowledge to my students.

I also posted on a blog that discussed the Twilight Book series -- which I am ready for the next book in the series to come out. The address of this blog is http://www.freewebs.com/twilightserieslovers/twilightthoughtsforum.htm?forumID=1664260&page=1&topicID=1069549 . I thought it also may be important to note that the blog is on freewebs.com, which consequently is not blocked by the district at this time.
Posting: I absolutely love this series. It is full of interesting twists and turns. It is definetly a book that is hard to put down, a page turner for sure. I cannot wait until the next addition in the series comes out...until them I will occupy myself by reading "The Host" a book by the same author.
